Dirceu Vianna Junior MW

Wine Director

Junior became Brazil’s first Master of Wine in 2008. Junior is instrumental in sourcing the wines for Barwell & Jones portfolio and maintaining the high standard of wine quality. He is also an educator, writer and a judge at selected wine events around the world.
     

 

Laura Dawson

National Account Manager

Laura has 13 years of experience in the FMCG sector, working with wine, spirits and coffee. Laura began her career with Marriott in the USA before joining Waverley Wines & Spirits to specialise in the HORECA sector looking after key national accounts. She then joined Lincoln & York, where she successfully developed new business in the sectors relating to the Out of Home, Speciality Retail and Food Service markets. 

     

 

Nick Gough

Business Development Manager 

Nick's first vineyard visits were to Champagne, Alsace and Rhine whilst still at university and he has not looked back. He spent many years growing wine sales and educating the sales team at Waverley TBS, eventually joining the wine team as wine operations manager. More recently he has helped expand the wine range and build sales for a national on-line wholesaler. Nick is responsible for developing sales within wholesalers and independent retailers in London and the south of England. 
   


Clare Lambert

Sales Manager

Clare Lambert joins the Barwell & Jones Sales Team as National Account Manager and will be responsible for the on-trade channel focusing on wholesalers, Hotel Groups, Pub Groups and Restaurant Groups. Lambert has extensive wine experience having previously worked as UK Brand Ambassador for Champagne Henriot and fine wine sales with John E Fells.  


   

Tim Gray

Business Development Manager

Tim joins us after gaining vast experience in the industry from his past roles as; a store manager with Majestic Wine in London, a cellar hand at Kumeu River Winery in New Zealand, and as Head Sommelier for the Lime Wood Group and PIG Group of hotels. Tim is now looking forward to establishing himself within the London On-Trade
and working with an exciting portfolio of brands.



   



Amanda Currie 

Business Development Manager

Amanda left the Legal Profession for a career in wine, gaining industry experience as a Head Sommelier at Vivat Baccus and as a helping hand at various pop up tasting events around the city before moving to Coe Vintners to work alongside Dirceu Vianna Jr MW. After qualifying as a WSET Certified Educator and working in Fine Wine sales, Amanda is keen to get stuck into the London on-trade with her new role.



 

Jamie Williamson

Business Development Manager

Bringing a broad range of drinks experience to Barwell & Jones, Jamie worked most recently as a Brand Specialist for Marblehead Brand Development in Scotland. Prior to that he gained extensive product and industry knowledge over 10 years managing the bar and front of house in a broad range of Scottish on-trade establishments. The on-trade in Scotland will be a key focus for Jamie, alongside expanding distribution within the independent retail sector.
